In January, the Club have their first encounter with Alain Buvain and the Seven.  They also get into their first tangles with the other members over the course of this year.

Louise meets D.I. John Lucas of New Scotland Yard while both are investigating a cult of diabolists.  The cult is using a pattern created by the tunnels of the London Underground as the focus for demonic summoning rituals.

Following up stories of a bestial murderer roaming the sewers of London, Sir Agravaine and Mercury are the first members of the Club to encounter the Genocide Failsafe.

Penny acquires a pet poodle, Fifi, as a present from her Auntie Louise.

John Henry and Jake Tigron join the Parallax Club.

Mithras of the Ravening Ones awakens from torpor.  Several of the Parallax Club discover the Cathedral of Flesh deep beneath the Carpathian Mountains, and Yorak awakens as well.

On October 31st, All Hallows' Eve, sudden showers of rain strike across the globe.  The droplets are tinged with red, causing meteorologists to note that there is an unusually high iron content in the atmosphere.  The Parallax Club, however, have in their possession a Dead Sea Scroll that speaks of the Rain of Blood as a harbinger of the Apocalypse.

In the aftermath of the Blood Rain, Mercury obtains a set of astonishing dimensional readings.  He realises that this world is the supposedly mythical Reality Prime, and when he reports what he has discovered the Bureau is thrown into disarray.

Louise's vampiric Sire, Valerius, aka 'Grandpere', attempts to feed on Pandora.  The Fey blood drives him into a Frenzy of such proportions that Pandora is forced to stake him into the True Death.  Louise begins to discover that all she learned from him about the nature of vampirism, and her own past, may not be the truth.

The Bureau is rocked still further by the discovery of a previously hidden section of their main computer archive, Core Central.  According to what the Bureau's agents can determine this 'Master Node' contains seven sealed files; and the first has been opened.

Louise begins to realise that her new lover, John Lucas, is more than he claims.  They begin a long game of never openly using their supernatural gifts while the other is looking.

The Parallax Club are transported through the Umbra to Malfeas, and escape the clutches of the foul entities there only with the assistance of The Old Man.
