The Genocide Failsafe
A little over a year ago, the Parallax Club found themselves unwittingly involved in a massive manhunt. Members of the British armed forces and government agents were hunting an 'escaped terrorist' in the sewers of London. It later emerged that their prey was in fact a genetically engineered supersoldier, a man who had been turned into an immensely powerful killing machine. Something had gone wrong with the experiment and their soldier had gone rogue. The rogue was stopped, but the members of the Parallax Club continued their investigations. Eventually, they unearthed a secret underground facility just outside Milton Keynes. They found an arsenal of the very latest weaponry and row upon row of cryogenic pods, each of the latter containing a muscular human figure similar to the London rogue. The Club's investigations revealed that these frozen warriors were part of a top secret experiment, something called Project Cry Havoc. Further digging revealed the existence of a number of similar facilities across the globe. Project Cry Havoc lurked behind faceless corporate entities and secret government bases in almost every country on Earth. It was in one of these bases that the Club discovered the project's true and terrifying purpose. Project Cry Havoc is part of something greater, something called the Genocide Failsafe. The Club found an encrypted computer file referring to the activation commands for the Cry Havoc soldiers, and there were added references to this activation being part of the Failsafe. The Club believe that, as its name suggests, the Failsafe is a last-ditch plan to use these warriors for some unknown but undoubtedly bloody purpose. The power behind the Genocide Failsafe remains unknown, but there are a number of suspects. The level of science behind Project Cry Havoc, significantly beyond the recognised bounds of technology, certainly suggests McAllister involvement. Furthermore, the use of government facilities shows that whoever is behind the Genocide Failsafe has an enormous amount of influence worldwide, and the limited tests the Club have been able to do on Cry Havoc soldiers show that their blood contains minute traces of potent Kindred vitae. Perhaps the Grand Council have something to do with it. Most recently, the Club discovered that technology for use in Project Cry Havoc was being stolen from McAllister labs by a mysterious intelligence organisation called Section Twelve. Its very existence known only to a select few in the global intelligence community, Section Twelve is seemingly made up of spies from agencies as diverse as the CIA, Mossad and the former KGB. The only common denominator is that all of them had their deaths faked. Section Twelve apparently uses both other agencies and the United Nations as cover for its activities. Investigating some highly-encrypted UN files, the Club discovered the document below. Its contents make for disturbing reading...
