McAllister Industries are found to be running a secret operation in the army base at Aldershot.  Dr. Rebecca Martin is there, and in the aftermath of the Parallax Club's meddling she fakes her death and joins the Club as Scientific Advisor.

Agents of the Donning Institute attempt to kidnap Penny.  In the ensuing devastation the two scientists currently in charge of Project Cerberus are incinerated.

Investigating another McAllister test facility, Mitch encounters and befriends one of their test subjects, Mip the wolverine.

Great Set and Azazel of the Ravening Ones awaken from torpor.  Disappearances of Kindred increase in scale, leaving whole cities depopulated of their vampiric masters.

The Parallax Club have their first encounter with The Traveller, leading to the rise of certain suspicions about John Henry's past.

Laos is 'killed' during a bout of Club meddling.  He is returned to life by a potent ritual, during which it is revealed that his guardianship of the North Wind was merely temporary.  He was actually meant to be the bearer of the spirit-form of Lao Sin, one of the three Imperial Storm Dragons of ancient Chinese myth.

Marcus Vitel of the Grand Council is killed, leading to the election of his successor and an prolonged bout of politicking, back-stabbing and outright murder by the European Kindred.  Eventually Gratiano of Madrid is selected.

During a chase with some villains Smedley is caught in an exploding Bentley.  Despite severe burns he recovers fully in a matter of days, resulting in a great deal of suspicion from his employer.

Larana of the Ravening Ones, in the guise of Bastet the Cat Goddess, awakens in an ancient Egyptian tomb.  After fighting her, Jake discovers that he is a full werecat rather than merely a weretiger, and in fact is the current human avatar of the Great Cat spirit, the true Bastet.

The Parallax Club is approached by Stheno, one of the Gorgon sisters of Greek legend, as the killing machine  known as Perseus has reappeared and is after her and her sister Euryale.  They and the Club discover that Becky Martin is their sister Medusa, long thought dead at Perseus' hand.  Mitch kills Perseus after a battle in a secret lab beneath the streets of London.

A vial of a genetically engineered virus, codenamed Armageddon, is stolen from a secret lab facility in the USA.  It is the most lethal disease ever known.  After a terrifying chase across New York the vial is buried in a collapsed subway tunnel beneath Manhattan.  Thankfully, it seems that none of the virus has escaped.

Becky Martin is kidnapped by the Deceiver, one of the Seven, and he attempts to use her in some heinous scientific experiment involving mind control.  She is rescued by Mitch and the Club.

The Parallax Club discover the First Prophecy of Joseph the Lesser, one of three ancient prophecies penned by Joseph of Arimathea that purport to detail the main events and major players of the Final Nights.

Louise has visions of ruling an ancient land as a vampiric god-queen.  She begins to suspect that despite supposedly being Iron-Willed an ancient Kindred is still somehow using her as a pawn in the Jyhad.  In an ancient temple she and the Club travel back in time to the Age of Heroes and fight Gilgamesh, King of Kush and ghoul to an incredibly potent vampire claiming to be Mekhet, eldest of the Second Generation.   The truth remains unrevealed.
