Alain Buvain
The first of the Seven to be encountered by the Parallax Club, Buvain is a high-ranking agent within the DGSE, the French secret service. He is also a werewolf and a shaman of no little power. In human form he is a darkly handsome man in his late 30s, in Garou form a giant black wolf with gleaming claws, slavering fangs and yellow eyes that glow from within. Although he is as monstrous as any of the Seven, recent events have revealed that he is part of something long thought lost to the world. He is a Black Spiral Dancer, a werewolf who has been corrupted by the Wyrm. For a brief history of the Dancers, click on the link below. He was responsible for manipulating The Inquisition into the assassination of Selina the tigerwere, and in the ensuing conflict with the Club it was revealed that he has filled DGSE headquarters on the Quai d'Orsay in Paris with corrupted werewolves like himself. The interior layout of the building has even been altered into a giant spiral to better focus his dark rituals. What Buvain plans to do is unknown, but it is believed that the entire DGSE is now under his control. Although encounters with Buvain have not to date revealed the existence of a primary subordinate, the Club's spies have revealed that he spends much of his time in the company of a beautiful, dusky-skinned young woman. Her identity remains unknown, as no photographs of her seem to come out clearly.
