The Black Taminou
A spirit of great power and evil, the Taminou is spoken of in Native American legend as the greatest of demons. The truth is that it is of the Umbra and not of the Earth; its thoughts are as incomprehensible as its plans are inscrutable. It is a being of Malfeas, a servitor of the Wyrm that was summoned to this world and has chosen to join the Seven for its own dark ends. As an agent of the Wyrm, it is a force of corruption, decay and entropy. When it manifests those around feel a hunger bordering on starvation, an insane stimulation that has driven Kindred into Frenzy and humans into feasting on each other's still-living flesh. The Taminou's most common manifestation is a semi-transparent humanoid figure with a face that shifts and warps between a variety of inhuman visages, hideous countenances that drive any onlooker into screaming madness. For a long while the Club had not encountered it, but recently one of its long-term schemes has been revealed. While in The Shadowlands, John Henry, Mercury and Jake discovered that the Taminou had ensconced itself there and had corrupted Charon himself. During its time in the lands of the dead, the Taminou has taken on the wraith of the Black Abbot as its subordinate. The Black Abbot was, in life, a priest who was corrupted by darkness and became a vessel for the blackest powers of Hell. Since his death at the hands of the Club he has seemingly only grown in power and evil.
