Mr. Aser

One of The Olympians, Aser is also known as the Warlord.  He is lean, swift and powerfully built, with long black hair and a feral glare that burns with hatred.  In past times his was the name on the lips of untold armies, and it was only the hand of Zeus (qv) that prevented him from rising to rule the entire ancient world.

In the modern age he is a commander of mercenaries, a soldier of fortune found on every battlefield from Bosnia to Sierra Leone.  He still harbours schemes of world rulership, and retains access to much of the extradimensional technology that made he and his kin such a potent force.  However, past feuds with Hephaestus, the artificer and engineer of the Olympians, mean that his command of that technology is not always as perfect as he would wish.

His right hand is a cybernetic prosthetic, the original having been severed by Mitch during Aser's last encounter with the Parallax Club, and he burns with the desire for revenge.  This is further exacerbated by his lust for Becky Martin (qv), a desire that she finds distasteful at best.
