Count Radulescu
An ancient vampire of vast and terrible power, Count Radulescu (the name he currently uses - his true identity is unknown) is the titular leader of the Seven. In addition to his position in that group, he is also a member of The Grand Council of the Kindred, overseeing the region of Eastern Europe. Radulescu is a tall, gaunt, white-haired figure, normally to be found in the attire of a 19th Century Romanian nobleman. His eyes are dark and cruel and he affects a slight Transylvanian accent no matter which language he speaks. His main haven is a large manor house in Hungary, from whence can often be heard the screams of the tortured and the wails of the damned. It may be that he chooses to act as such a stereotypically fiendish vampire, seemingly straight from a bad Hammer Horror movie, in order to confuse those who would seek to plot against him. On the other hand it may be a whim, or even a sign that his grip on sanity (if any elder Kindred is truly sane by human standards) is fracturing. His true age and his Sire are unknown, though he is either of the Fourth or Fifth Generation and has in the past spoken of the Second City (see Kindred History) as one who has walked its streets. Assuming that this is the case, it would make him some six or seven thousand years old. He rarely uses his powers, though the force of Presence that surrounds him whenever he so wishes is enough to make all but the strongest-willed fall to their knees in immediate supplication. His primary retainer and bodyguard is his Childe, Cassius, a potent vampire of Roman vintage whose loyalty is guaranteed by the Blood Bond. Cassius is a towering mass of strength and sinew - a lion-maned colossus, grizzled veteran of wars without number, his dead-white skin crisscrossed with scars from head to toe. He rarely speaks, but when he does the voice is like the grating of a whetstone on steel.
