Arika Patros

Arika is a young Greek girl of nine with black hair and large dark eyes, first encountered by the Club when she had been kidnapped by the Bahari (see 2000).  To the worshippers of Lilith, she was the reincarnation of the last Oracle at Delphi, a position which in Ancient Greece had always been held by one of their own.  They evidently knew of Arika's incipient abilities as a seer and wanted her for their own dark purposes.

Shortly after her first encounter with the Club, her parents and brother were murdered by an insane telepath who had mistaken her potent psychic emanations for those of Penny.  In the aftermath, with Arika in shock and bereft of living relatives, Louise decided to take the orphaned girl under her protection.

Though not telepathic or telekinetic, Arika does possess significant precognitive abilities.  She was responsible for the prophecy of the ascension of the Chosen of Lilitu (see Helga Prophecy 2).  Only time will tell if her powers are a gift or a curse to the Parallax Club...
