The Archivist

With the destruction of most of the Umbral portals in the cataclysm of The Sundering, all the gateways between this world and Arcadia, the land of the Fey, have closed.

Pandora was not the only Faerie to be stranded here following the disaster.  She knows of several members of the Seelie Court that are currently trapped on Earth, and there may well be others.

The most notable, however, is the Archivist, an ancient sidhe mage.  Normally found only in the Royal Library of Avalon, it was something of a shock for Pandora to find that he had left his beloved books and artifacts behind and come to Earth.  The fact that this 'short trip just to see the sights' occurred just prior to the Sundering was either extremely unfortunate or slightly suspicious.

He is a bowed Faerie of obvious antiquity, with spectacles perched on the end of his long nose and a remarkable resemblance to Miracle Max (Billy Crystal) in 'The Princess Bride'.  His capacious pockets hold a number of potent sidhe foci, and his grouchy, absent-minded exterior conceals a basically kind nature and a mind as sharp as a razor.  He is aware that Pandora is a child of Oberon (but not Titania), and thus a member of the House Royal of Arcadia, and there is a strong suggestion that he knows still more that remains currently unrevealed.

He currently lives in a small bungalow in West London, with a tiny but beautiful garden that seems much, much larger when you stand in it.  He has taken on the mantle of Pandora's mentor, claiming that "she needs to learn a lot more given the state of reality at the moment."  His name, if indeed he has one, is unknown, and it always seems terribly impolite to ask.
